For over a decade, Sahara Ghar has taken in those left on the streets, offering shelter, food, and dignity for people no one else would care for.
Sahara Ghar takes in anyone who has been abandoned or left behind. No questions, no exceptions. Around ~100 people live here at any given time, each one arrived with nowhere else to go.

Sahara Ghar began around 2070 BS when local social worker Bal Bahadur Bista started rescuing people from the streets of Kailali. What began as one man's compassion is now a home for ~100 people.
